Oh yeah, out of interest...
One of the friendly guys who we met from this club at Donington a fair few months back was explaining to us in a very hilarious manner how he smashed up a 924 on a trip to the ring!
For our own reference...
1) Who was he?
2)Whats his username (so we can keep an eye on him)
3)Was it a 924 or 944?
4)MOST IMPORTANTLY- who has pictures?

What Gareth has said ^^^
Pete hasn't been around for a while, but he does have some heavy old work/personal commitments so he does pop by every now and again.
But as said the car still lives after its fight with the Arnco and is being rebuild by members in preperation for track day outings in 2011/12.
I thought I had a picture, but I always get mixed up between Helga & Gladys, guys which one is this.
I think this is Helga not Gladys.....

That one is Helga with the body kit, now residing up your neck of the woods somewhere I believe Paul.
Gladys was a very clean 1985 924 N/A in Guards Red. I'm not aware of any photographic evidence to be honest, Pete managed to sidestep that very nicely! The car came out of the event quite well to be fair, it drove home to Blighty all the way from the 'ring. It just has some rather fetching armco shaped panelwork along the nearside!
Shame really as it was a very clean car that Pete had spent a lot of time, money and effort getting right.

Thought it was, was more like a holiday for it down Brum.
Pete bought the car in Bylth then sold it back to someone else in the NE
Darlington way IIRC
