Watcha, first time Porsche owner

Post by laffinboy1811 on Thu 16 Dec 2010, 17:38

I have just made the monumental decision to sack off my poorly 1990 E30 and go for a Porsche 924. I hope I haven't made the worst decision in my adult life, but at the moment it's blossoming into quite the love affair.
There are some niggles that I hope to get ironed out but overall I'm really impressed with life as a Porsche owner, I'm interested to see what appears on these pages and maybe grab some hints and tips from the more experienced amongst you.

Thanks guys, I'll be paying for membership for that exact reason, then my boot lid will shut properly!
What's the score, do people post photos on here of their pride and joy?

What they said^^^ Don't even think of posting again until you have photo's to share! Laughing

Welcome along Tim. I'm sure you won't regret the decision, though I have to say the E30 Bimma is one car that I would happily swap my Toofah for.

E30 Touring are great cars, in fact had a white 5 door '86 E30 just before i bought my first 924 back in 2000.

Since then only ever owned 924/944 or 4x4 (with 1 ovlov and 1 pug while I restore)

Pic's would be great, but visit the homepage www.notarealorsche.com to pay for membership and you' see my last 3 in the projects thread.

Oh and I know its close to Xmas, but if you're quick you can get a club calendar for £5 inc. postage (only 4 left Wink )
