hello to all,1st time porsche owner (x2)
hi my name´s john and live in spain near gibratar, well i allways hankered after a porsche but never got round to it (bmw driver)and the other day spotted a 924 and a 944 in the local rag,i went round to see them and ended up swoping an old 4x4 i had for the pair so i was well chuffed.the chap was selling up and leaving spain as many are and just had to get rid,so lucky me.....
the 944 is a red 1984 rhd uk has many miles but also has lots of money spent on her but is a bit ruff although not much rust.
the 924 is lhd on jersey plates but was previously uk reg´d
she,s black with a tow bar as the previous owner used the car to tow speed boats, the body is rust free and very good just burnt lacker on the roof/bonnet,and very good interior except cracked dash.
the mecanics need a good looking at,im a bike mecanic so no probs there....i will be asking for some advice though....
i canrnt keep both so the 944 will have to go.

Welcome John. 2 for 1, thats got to be a good deal. The towbar on the Toofah is quite a rarity. The cracked dash is standard factory fit!

Not a bad deal!!
And a good decision to sell the '44 and keep the '24 if you are plainning to work on it yourself.
Parts for the '24 will be easier to source and its a more forgiving engine, plus you should be able to swap the 944 for a nice little speedboat to put on the back of the '24

Welcome aboard

Don't know if he still has it but a member from the NE moved out there and took his silver 924 with him, what a great car to have to play in when you're not tinkering with your bikes
