Bubble & Kick Racing's Renault Megane R26 F1

Post by Bubble & Kick Racing on Mon 20 Dec 2010, 23:36

Below you will find a few pictures of our Renault Megane R26. Now before you all shout at us, I am well aware that it is not a Porsche! Although the engine is in the front so lets just agree thats as close as we will get!

This car is used for a variety of events including corporate activities, Track days and Performance Driver training. The cars next outing is in early January at Brands Hatch, there are a few spaces left at the extremely low price of £89 per person, this amounts to between 45-60 minutes on track driving time with a qualified ARDS race instructor. If this interests anyone feel free to get in touch with the team at info@bubbleandkick.com

The R26 is already a highly respected performance hatchback but we have further enhanced its abilities on circuit to make it safer and more predictable at high cornering speeds. The car is fully equipped with a dual control brake pedal for the race instructor, a half roll cage and full harness to protect the driver. The addition of custom made lightened race wheels wrapped in Toyo R888 tyres has made the cars handling "simply incredible" says Clio Cup Driver Fulvio Mussi who regularly uses the car to train up and coming racing drivers. Gaz gold suspension systems accompanies the unique wheels which were designed by Bubble & Kick Racing to reduce the unsprung mass.

Safe to say the Megane creates a thrilling vehicle that continues to impress the track day community and is getting increasingly popular to drive! So keep an eye on our posts and grab your opportunities to drive with us when they come along!

If we can get enough interest for a particular circuit then we always make an effort to get there as soon as possible!

Looking at your location you would ideally like to go to Silverstone, Rockingham or Mallory Park?

Or even Donnington, Love Donnington! Silverstone for me is just to flat and boring. Rockingham is interesting, but my god is it slippy on the concrete sections if there's a bit of morning dew about. Mallory again i think is to flat and boring. For me Donnington has everything.

I'd prefer DONINGTON myself! tongue

But, yes, I'd certainly be up for a Donington/Mallory/Rockingham/Silverstone event. Thats a decent enough price, its just the distance that is a problem for me.
