Might have a replacement for the fronty

Post by Monkeymagic on Tue 25 Jan 2011, 18:18

Well, the fronty maybe going at the end of the month
Very good friend of mine is getting rid of his BMW 316i compact
Hes had it for 13 years and has never skipped servicing or cost to keep it up together
On a M reg so getting on a bit but as he has his own company and is driving a works van to save costs - he never drives it anymore
Has got 180000 on the clock but as i said - he has looked after it and has been to dick levett bristol for all its works

£250.00 with 7 months mot and 2 months tax - bargain me thinks

Bargain. sham its the 1.6 could not pull a hole in a wet paper bag. BMW's atempt to make a 'girls' car. Should look nice on your drive, Laughing

Good lad, you know it makes sense! Must admit, the compact styling doesn't do a lot for me and as Rob says you will notice the power difference, but hells bells will it be cheaper to run! You'll be able to start saving towards that respray for the Toofah!
Reckon you could afford to throw the Frontera away and still be better off!

Its never been very good on the fuel since day one but was a cheap motor in the beginning - very bad mpg even when working right hence not may 2.4's around
