Mallory test day

3 spins, a beetle blowing up and a safety car. That's just the 1st race! Phil is doing well, seems much faster than last time I saw him.

You can brew a cup of tea in the footwell of a 24.....it's bloody freezing here, glad I'm parked overlooking Gerards bend.

Best race of the day from the big Jags. Too much weight, too much power and a total inability to corner without both comedy understeer and oversteer. Excellent!

Nice to see you Chris - had a great day although I couldn't get out of the car in the pit stop as have major back problem. They let me sit for a timed 60 seconds instead so I lost lead of the class G and finished second - I can normally do the compulsory pit stop in 40 seconds. Still had a great race. Sorry I couldnt stay over for the Monday - did anyone get to see the modsports?

You were noticeably more confident and assertive this time Phil. Great racing and you can see most of the track so loved Mallory. I was impressed by how close to the '44's and 911 you were. I missed the Monday as had too much to do ,but the line up looked good.

This is the in car footage but the battery died before pit stop so didn't get the best bit near the end of the race when I caught Chris Goddard under braking into Gerrards.
